How to Connect Android Devices to Student Wi-Fi Network

Summary:

Fullerton College provides Wi-Fi coverage for Staff, Faculty, and Students. If you are an Android user,  please follow the instructions below to connect to Student Wi-Fi Network. This includes but is not  limited to devices such as Samsung Galaxy S20, Motorola G Power, Kindle, and Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Prerequisites:

  • FC Student E-mail address (8-digit Banner ID number followed by @fullcoll.edu)  

example: [email protected]

  • MyGateway password

Instructions:

1. Tap Settings

2. Tap Connections

3. Tap the Wi-Fi network you would like to connect to, for example: Student

4. Your default EAP method should be PEAP. If it is not, tap the  menu to select PEAP.

5. Tap CA Certificate to select None or Don’t Validate

6. Tap the Identity field to enter your FC Student E-mail Address in the following format, fc\FCStudentEmailaddress,  

for example: fc\[email protected]

7. Tap the password field to enter your MyGateway Password

8. Tap Connect.
