How to Connect Windows 10 Devices to Student Wi-Fi Network

Summary:

Fullerton College provides Wi-Fi coverage for Staff, Faculty, and Students. If you are a Windows OS  user, please follow the instructions below to connect to Student Wi-Fi Network. This includes but is  not limited to the vast device models that use the Windows OS platform, such as Surface Pro, HP  Laptop, Acer Laptop, and or many.

Prerequisites:

  • FC Student E-mail address (8-digit Banner ID number followed by @fullcoll.edu)  

example: [email protected]

  • MyGateway password

Instructions:

1. Select the Network icon at the lower right of your taskbar.

2. Select Student Wi-Fi network  

3. Select the checkbox to Connect Automatically and  click Connect

4. Select the Username field to enter your FC Student E-mail Address in the following format,  fc\FCStudentEmailAddress, for example: fc\[email protected]

5. Select the Password field to enter your MyGateway Password

6. Select OK

7. When you are successfully connected to the Student Wi-Fi Network, you will see “Connected,  secured” below the Wi-Fi Network name.
