Overview
Fullerton College uses Microsoft 365 (Office 365) for campus email and collaboration tools. Some third-party applications allow you to sign in with your Microsoft 365 account (e.g., [email protected]). To ensure security, the first-time use of these applications requires IT approval through an admin consent process. This article explains how faculty, staff, students, and temporary workers can request integration for approved applications.
Requesting Access
Third-party application integration with Microsoft 365 is permitted only for Fullerton College-approved purposes and must be requested via the Service Request (SR) portal or Academic Computing Technologies (ACT) Helpdesk. Follow the steps below based on your role.
Faculty, Staff, or Managers

Submit a Service Request:
- Visit the SR portal at https://fcsd.fullcoll.edu/.
- Create an SR ticket requesting application integration.
- Include:
- Name of the application or service.
- Purpose of use (e.g., teaching, administrative tasks).
- Associated course names (if applicable).
- Submit the SR ticket.

Wait for Approval:
- IT staff will review the request and notify you within 5–10 business days.

Students

Instructor-Led Requests:
- If an instructor requires an application for a course, ask them to submit an SR ticket or contact the ACT Helpdesk.
- The instructor must provide:
- Application name.
- Course name(s) requiring the application.

- If your instructor hasn’t submitted a request, email [email protected] with the application name and course details, or call (714) 992-7111.
Disability Support Services (DSS)

DSS-Led Requests:
- If DSS recommends an application for accessibility, DSS staff must:
- Submit an SR ticket at https://fcsd.fullcoll.edu/, including the application name and purpose.
- Or, email [email protected] with the application name and details, or call (714) 992-7111.
- Students: Coordinate with DSS to initiate the request.
- If DSS recommends an application for accessibility, DSS staff must:
Temporary Workers (e.g., Student/Adult Hourly, Professional Expert, Contract Employee)

Supervisor-Led Requests:
- Ask your immediate supervisor to submit an SR ticket at https://fcsd.fullcoll.edu/.
- The supervisor must include:
- Application name.
- Statement of purpose for your role.
- Submit the SR ticket.

- IT staff will review the request and notify your supervisor within 5–10 business days.

Notes
- Processing Time: Requests typically take 5–10 business days, longer during peak periods (e.g., semester starts).
- Security: Only IT-approved applications are integrated to protect your Microsoft 365 account and campus data.
